What I do
I am a paralegal at Tae & Partners, working alongside the partners on TPD and insurance claims while I finish my law degree at UTS. I am here to learn, and I want to build my experience managing files to the point where I can run one with confidence and without needing to be walked through it.
How I got here
I started out in admin roles before moving into a paralegal position at a personal injury firm, working across workers compensation, motor vehicle accident and public liability claims. That is where I actually learned how a claim file comes together, not from a textbook but from doing it. I am studying my Bachelor of Laws at UTS now, on track to be admitted in 2027.
Values
I spent six months as a legal researcher with Justice Action, working on human rights issues in the corrective system. Seeing that side of things up close is a big part of why I wanted to work on the plaintiff side, for the people who need someone in their corner.
Outside the office
When I am not at work, I am usually playing basketball with my two brothers, walking my American Staffy, Koda, or out on a motorbike ride with my dad through the Royal National Park on the weekends, much to my mum’s dismay.
