What I do
I am an Associate at Tae & Partners in Brisbane, acting for clients in Queensland motor vehicle accident claims, TPD superannuation insurance claims, and Queensland WorkCover claims. I guide clients through every stage of their matter, from initial insurer dealings through medical assessments, disputes, settlement, and litigation when required. My focus is on clear, practical advice so clients always know where things stand and what comes next.
I work with clients in both Korean and English.
How I got here and my values
My path to law was not a straight one. I began my career in civil engineering, but by 27, a passion I had held since childhood resurfaced, and I knew I had to pursue law. Starting over later than most felt daunting, but I never doubted the decision.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to work as a paralegal at one of Australia’s largest personal injury firms. That experience exposed me to a wide range of cases and people, and gave me a clear view of how much strength it takes to rebuild a life after injury or illness. What has stayed with me, then and now, is how hard people fight to keep going for the ones they love, even in their hardest moments. Being able to offer real, practical support through that fight is what drives me professionally, and it is what makes this work genuinely meaningful to me.
