FAQs

Will my claim go to court?

Probably not. The large majority of personal injury claims resolve by agreement before a hearing. Court proceedings are started when the insurer will not make a fair offer, and even then most matters settle before trial.

The short answer

Probably not. The large majority of personal injury claims resolve by agreement before a hearing. Court proceedings are started when the insurer will not make a fair offer, and even then most matters settle after proceedings start and before a hearing.

A full trial is the exception, reserved for claims where the insurer disputes liability or the extent of the injury and will not move. We prepare every claim as if it will be heard, which is what produces fair offers, and we tell you plainly before proceedings are started what a trial would involve.
